Position Summary

The ServicesContracts Accounting Analyst is an entry-level to early-career role that combines accounting support with business and process analysis. This role is responsible for setting up service contracts, ensuring accurate billing, and acting as a customer-facing resource to resolve invoice questions or discrepancies. The analyst will work cross-functionally with finance, service delivery, and customers to ensure clarity, accuracy, and efficiency in service-related financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer & Billing Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer billing inquiries, providing timely and accurate resolution.
  • Research and troubleshoot invoice discrepancies in collaboration with service managers and operations.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding billing terms, adjustments, and resolutions.
• Contracts & Billing Setup
  • Assist in setting up new service contracts and recurring billing schedules in the ERP system.
  • Ensure contract terms are properly reflected to support accurate invoicing.
  • Partner with internal teams to validate contract details and service charges.
• Business & Process Analysis
  • Analyze billing workflows to identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure accuracy of service data.
  • Provide reports and insights on billing activity, contract compliance, and trends.
• General Accounting Support
  • Support monthly close activities through reconciliations and documentation.
  • Assist with maintaining internal controls and audit readiness.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, or related field (or nearing completion).
• 0-3 years of experience in accounting, billing, or customer service.
• Experience with ERP systems (Acumatica or similar) preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; exposure to reporting or analytics tools a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and follow-through skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and internal teams.
