Senior Talent Attraction and Retention Specialist

The Sr. Talent Attraction & Retention Specialist is responsible for conducting full lifecycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews along with completing the onboarding process of the candidates for assigned searches in order to support the dynamic growth of Tech Electronics. This individual will need to maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates and the community at-large. A wide degree of creativity, near and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required.

The Sr. Talent Attraction Specialist is a critical and key member in terms of achieving marketing, sourcing, attraction, retention and quality of hire/retention goals. In partnership with the Talent Attraction Leader, this person will play a strong role in executing the defined talent management strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Executes the sourcing strategy for each position by sourcing candidates from networks, universities, associations, direct sources, applicant tracking database and employee referrals.
• Focus on candidate attraction utilizing social media strategy and candidate pipeline development efforts for open positions
• Conducts or participates in the interview set-up, consensus meetings and offer process with the hiring manager(s)
• Coordinate, represent and participate in recruitment events as required to fill open positions and maintain prospect relationships
• Provides exceptional employee experience for candidates and the hiring teams throughout the recruitment process
• Ensures internal fill rate is an integral part of the recruiting process by reviewing internal succession planning strategies
• Assist in deploying effective onboarding activities including creation of new materials, facilitating sessions, conducting new employee survey to help support employee engagement and productivity. Produce metrics for evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of the onboarding process.
• Partner with the Employee Experience Officer on the deployment of employee engagement surveys. Coordinate supporting initiatives across the organization.
• Keeps abreast of current trends in recruiting and social media
• Serve as a project team member on various HR projects

KSA's:

• At least 5+ years of experience with full life-cycle recruiting.
• Knowledgeable about recruiting at all experience levels.
• Advanced Internet research experience using Boolean search techniques.
• Proven ability to source, screen, recruit and recommend strong talent.
• Knowledge of recruiting laws and practices.
• Strong relationship-builder.
• Exhibit the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
• Possess the accountability and personal responsibility to own and drive results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with external vendors, potential job candidates and internal employees for referral.
• Proven ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive team attitude.
• Ability to handle a heavy desk load and work with multiple Hiring Managers.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work under short deadlines and competing priorities.
• Implement highly effective, results-driven strategies

Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred Skills

• HR Certification (PHR or similar)
• Prior experience working with Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
