Fire Alarm Systems Designer
POSITION OVERVIEW
Design 2D drawings and submittals (system drawings, bill of material, calculations, etc.) for fire alarm systems under the instruction of the Design manager. Manage CAD files, document revisions, and engineering documents per company standards.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Drafting degree, or certificate.
Experience:
- Proficient with AutoCAD (recent versions).
- Proficient with MS Office Software, specifically Excel.
- BIM (Revit) design experience preferred
- Basic understanding of low voltage electrical systems and mechanical HVAC systems preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s) Required:
- NICET Certification helpful but not required. Must be willing to obtain.
