POSITION OVERVIEW: Data Management Generalist works within our Data Management Team to ensure accurate and reliable data throughout our enterprise workflow including customer, partner, and vendor data entry, sales work order processing, contract review, and project management and engineering support. Also provides administrative support for project management processes and project management personnel in support of the implementation and closeout of company projects (new system and move, add and changes). Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Workflow and Operations and Data Management Supervisor.


FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

  • Accurate and timely completion of assigned data entry and data management responsibilities to meet department and individual goals.
  • Daily work can include review, evaluation, and entry of vendor data, customer account data, and sales work order data.
  • Primary responsibilities will be to review, evaluate, and administer customer account data.
  • Daily responsibilities can include work in all business operations platforms including Salesforce, Salesbuilder, Astea, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, and other.
  • Collaborate with teammates within Workflow and Logistics department. Collaborate with sales, project management, engineering, purchasing, partners and vendors, and others to complete responsibilities and improve productivity.
  • Identify and present workflow, data management, and productivity improvement strategies. Partner with Innovation/Business Systems Group to plan and implement initiatives.
  • Assigned processes include but are not limited to the following:
    • Product and Vendor database administration
    • Customer database administration
    • New job processing and closeout
    • Submittal generation for project managers
  • Assist in the implementation of new procedures as designated by Company
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and managers to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity and continued improvement

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. The requirements listed below are representatives of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Experience:
  • Two (2) years' experience in customer service.
  • One year experience using computer systems, including MS Office.
