Business Systems Generalist

Performs administrative activities that support organizational development initiatives, primarily in the areas of data content, employee development, and training.  Responsible for executing best practices to ensure continuity and accuracy of data across the entire organization.

 

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for data integrity and accuracy, analyzing data and executing problem resolution and problem prevention as required.
  • Repairs all associated data structures in order to facilitate proper updates.
  • Applies standard guidelines to variable data structures with consistent results.
  • Escalates issues to the Senior Process Associate for proper prototyping, testing, documentation, training, and communication throughout the company.
  • Maintains working knowledge of all Tech applications, applying knowledge of business procedures to the proper maintenance of the data with minimal supervision; adheres to policy, training instructions, and procedures.
  • Executes data mining and scrubbing projects as assigned and within stated due dates.
  • Works with other Organizational Development resources to provide support on corporate initiatives as required.  
  • Conducts all necessary research (consults customers, vendors, hard copy publications, and electronic resources) to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings pertaining to data content. Ensures meetings are efficient and effective in achieving organizational goals. (i.e. "Part Maintenance Master," "Quick Quote," and "Monthly Customer Service Reports").  Escalates issues to Director of Organizational Development.
  • Performs various administrative tasks relating to the scheduling and tracking of corporate training initiatives.
  • Maintains document libraries currently located on Sharepoint. This includes but is not limited to:  Training & Development Center, Certificates, Vendor Library, etc.
  • Coordinates data maintenance tasks with Directors of Business Development to ensure timely results. Escalates to Director of Business Development when deadlines are not met.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees and managers to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity and continued improvement.

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • Two (2) years working with relational databases, researching data, or analyzing work flow.
  • One year experience using computer systems, including MS Office.
  • Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute and perform proficient 10-key by touch
